There's a ticket for a formwizard that will rely on sessions rather than POST data (http://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/9200) but it doesn't appear that anyone's working on it at the moment. If you really want to see this happen, your best bet is to read through the ticket and pick up work where they left off.
