Here are the model and manager: class PublishedEntryManager(models.Manager): def get_query_set(self): return super(PublishedEntryManager, self).get_query_set().filter (pub_date__lte=datetime.now) class Entry(models.Model): ... some fields ... pub_date = models.DateTimeField() published = PublishedEntryManager() In fact, if an entry has a pub_date set in the future, then it is not accessible in the admin. Somehow the admin seems to be using the PublishedEntryManager as default manager. Is there a way to force the admin to use the default manager?
