To set up a beginner forum does not require you to answer all questions yourself. But, having said that, it is probably difficult to maintain an effective beginner forum. The problem is to attract enough knowledgable people that are willing to provide their advice in return of not much benefit besides a warm feeling of having done something good. And, beeing a beginner myself, I am not very interested in a beginner forum because there are going to be the same questions rehashed over and over. Instead, I like to lurk around here to look beyond my horizon and to come across solutions for problems I didn't know I have. And to get ideas for how to do things. The biggest problem I have as a beginner is to find out what is possible and where to find information about something I don't even know what it is called. In the end it all comes down to motivation. Experts join this list because they can have meaningful discussions here with other experts. When they come across a beginner question they might answer it if they feel like it. I doubt many of them would join a beginner forum. As a beginner you just have to put up with that. I think it can be expected that people read at least the basic documentation (tutorial, FAQ) before asking questions here that are answered in there. If you want to improve things for beginners I think it is most effective to help improve that documentation to make it easier to find the information beginners need.
