If I had no interest in fixing the bug I would not have responded nor tried
to recreate it on two different machines (installing a new version of MySQL
on one of them to do so).  I simply stated that it isn't high enough
priority for me to pursue any further at this point given my knowledge of
the code, what I feel are the numbers of people that might hit this problem,
and and the fact that I cannot recreate it.  I am sorry if you feel that was
hostile.  I'm sorry Django doesn't fit your needs and good luck with
whatever software you choose to use instead.
