Don't know if I fully understand what u want, but in my opinion, the best solution is to have two forms (first for User and second for UserProfile, don't forget to connect them in SETTINGS). Duplicationg data is really not the right way I think. I my project, I use User.email to confirm the registration proces and every email must be unique, so I will not allow to change it (if it will be really neccessary user can contact me).
