Hi all, My django-locationtracking app is now up and available. Code is available from
http://code.google.com/p/django-locationtracking/ and a screencast is available at my website, http://www.adamfast.com/programming/locationtracking/ It was introduced during one of the lightning talks at DjangoCon, and that video quickly shows it in less depth than the screencast. There's still more work to be done to get additional backends (which just need to be ported from my personal site to be generic) and multi-user support baked in, but if you're interested in using it it's ready to go with the InstaMapper iPhone/other phone handsets backend.
