Answering questions on the mailing list is one very important item on that list. If anyone has any suggestions of other ideas, or of ways we can make it easier to contribute, make a suggestion and we'll see what we can do. If you were talking about financial contributions - one of the reasons for setting up the Django Foundation was to act as a conduit for accepting donations.
