I was wondering how to translate application name in Admin page and I only found messages back to 2006 with a suggestion to include a variable "__verbose_name__" in the application's __init__.py file and no ticket at all.
There are any news about it? Wouldn't be good if at least the newforms- admin provide a way to translate the application names in the admin interface? I have some applications in portuguese and japanese, in english by default but not all users are used to the english terms.
