Sorry, it's not my intention to misuse this mailing list and I did ask 
this question to myself before posting.
I am trying to keep the django code db-backend independend (which is 
part of the coding philosopy of django afaik)
So it's a question for all backend mailing lists - or none of this 
mailing lists but the frameworks mailing list...
But I am new to this topic so it's not as easy to classify :)

I did the same but the psychopg server is down... so I thought maybe 
someone at this django mailing list has had the same needs and has found 
a solution.
