i've installed svn and django. am now intending to install mod_python
as soon as
i figure out whether my osx machine is 64 bit or 32 bit.

some questions:
1. the programs i want to develop will run from my ISP, not my home
machine where i work, do i really need to install mod_python at home?
i don't plan to use
myhome machine except for development... my understanding is
mod_python
makes django faster, not different... so in theory, can i build my
code now, without
mod_python? or do i also need to request my ISP install
mod_python? they support python. a real plus for what i am on the
hook to do... people are expecting this to be done easy. this
install is definitely easier than lisp, so far. :)

2. when installing, there is a choice to do a build or download a
"button" installer, and since i have little unix experience with
build I've opted for the button install.
is there a way to determine similar authenticity as with the MD5/PGP?

many thanks. and good morning.
