After much effort, things have progressed to my trying 'python load_data.py' I get an error: "Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket /var/lib/mysql/ mysql.sock"
Thinking that the default setting of DATABASE_HOST = "" might be wrong, I asked the host (OCSSolutions) where their database host was - they replied localhost or /tmp/myql.sock (!do linuxers really put important stuff in a directory called 'temporary'?) local host produced the same result. /tmp/mysql.sock produced "Unknown MySQL server host '/tmp/mysql.sock' Told host; they replied that mysql.sock was there - must be a problem with my settings. Now What?
