Greetings! I have Django .97 installed and I currently have a base.html in my template directory. My apache 2.2.3 default configuration is:
begin snipp .... DocumentRoot /home/django_apps <Directory /> Options FollowSymLinks AllowOverride None </Directory> <Directory /home/django_apps/> Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews AllowOverride None Order allow, deny allow from all </Directory> <Location "/"> SetHandler python-program PythonHandbler django.core.handlers.modpython SetEnv DJANGO_SETTINGS_MODULE django_apps.settings PythonDebug On PythonPath "['/home'] + sys.path" </Location> <Location "/admin_media"> SetHandler None </Location> <LocationMatch "\.(jpg|gif|png)$"> SetHandler None </LocationMatch> end snipp.... The Apache server is setup to look for http://localhost. I created an index.html soft link pointing to the base.html file in the template directory. When I bring up the browser, I get a error message "Page not found" even though the index.html is pointing to base.html which has all the CSS and miscellaneous URL links. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this simple problem?
