I'm trying to help out a friend in a bind whose programmer is no
longer reachable, and have a few newbie questions. I've just started
working with both python and django, and am working my way thru the
python and django tutorials; my background is with perl and php.

Is there an equavalent to php's phpinfo() -- I'm trying to figure out
which version of django is running on the server.

The previous developer seems to have set things up so django
intercepts all urls. Is there any way to get django to not process
files in a dir (i'm trying to install phpMyAdmin to look at the DB)?

TIA
-dave
