I was sure this must be a common problem, as I've tried two different
installations with completely different setups, and the same results
in both cases. But looking up the error message, "Incorrect string
value", didn't give me anything. So, sorry if this has been asked
already, blame it on a weak google-fu ;)

So, my problem: using the admin interface I try to enter some greek
text, and it all comes crashing down:

Incorrect string value: '\xCE\x91\xCF\x84\xCF\x8C...' for column
'item' at row 1

This is simply copy-pasting of the text at
http://www.lorem-ipsum.info/generator3,
where I've tried both Greek and Russian.

Is this a MySQL issue perhaps? Do I need to set the encoding of the db
somewhere? Any thoughts?
