I actually tried deinstalling django, py-mysqldb and reinstalling
everything from the ports (that's a freebsd machine...) and it didn't
change anything.
When installing django it actually install automatically mysqldb...
I'll try erasing the configuration and specify manually what kind of
database I'm using as it might have been using the old config. on
reinstallation.
If it doesn't work, I'll try installing from the source code found on
the website of py-mysqldb
