Hi Guys I would like to point out that this problem still exists in Django post SVN 5608 (I just tried again with 6022). Since I initially reported this bug, I have moved from a 32bit to a 64bit notebook and have moved from "openSUSE 10.3 (i586) Alpha5" to a new install of "openSUSE 10.3 (X86-64) Beta2". Given that openSUSE 10.3 is going to be released soon, and that this is a 100% repeatable problem which only occurs post the unicode merge in Django, I would really appreciate if one of the developers could take the time to have a look at it.
