Also, if you don't have time to follow the django-developers list, or at least check http://code.djangoproject.com/wiki/BackwardsIncompatibleChanges before running svn up, you really shouldn't follow svn trunk for awhile. There are going to be a lot of backwards incompatible changes before the next release.
