With this
<dt><b>Team:</b>
{% for team in object.squad.team_set.all %}
{% appearance_count_for_team team.id %}
and
class AppearanceCountForTeamNode(template.Node):
def __init__(self, team_id):
print team_id
...
I get "team.id" printed out and not the id of the team.
Why doesn't it get evaluated? I don't understand this.
