I put the mentioned sql in a file in my Djano installation django/
contrib/auth/sql/users.sql
I then erase my apps database and run 'manage.py syncdb'
When prompted for a superuser, I answer 'no'
I then start the django server ('manage.py runserver') and attempt to
surf
to http://127.0.0.1:8000/admin
I am presented with a llogin screen that doesn't recognize my username
and password.
I do note that each time I create the superuser from within syncdb, I
get a different
hashed password, which makes me wonder how the SQL code can add a
superuser.
