I set background image like below in the style tag of the html page. It
works !

background: url({% static 'users/img/bg/name_of _image.png'%})
no-repeat center center fixed;
-webkit-background-size:cover;
-moz--background-size:cover;
-o--background-size:cover;
background-size: cover;
}
</style>
