This past Friday a new Django website hit the streets - TrenchMice.
The site started with Django nearly a year ago, at version 0.91 and has been building ever since. It is really amazing to see how much more exists in the framework today from when we started. We hit a lot of the usual trouble spots - needing a one to one relationship to extend the user object for our site, complex forms that effect multiple models, etc. But as of now, it is up and running under Apache and back-ended into Postgres. (I've got to say, I didn't know much about Postgres prior to this project - and it's been a delight!) The site is the brain child of John DeRosa - who posts here occasionally. It's meant to provide a forum and rating mechanism to really tease out the soft data associated with employers - both the good and the less than optimal. If you've got a second, please check it out - maybe post something about where you work. :-) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Django users" group.
