Dear All,

A newbie with Django, but seem to be doing with some basics so far, but
seem to be a bit stuck on getting the values from a Drop Down menu.

I have a method in my views.py file which starts:

def ansQuestion(request):
    q = get_object_or_404(Question)
    answer = request.POST['value']

and the template reads:

<form action="ansQuestion" method="post">
<select>
<option value="A">A</option>
<option value="B">B</option>
<option value="C">C</option>
<option value="D">D</option>
<option value="E">E</option>
</select>

<input type="submit" value="Choose" />
</form>

When I run it, I get an error message about an empty MultiValuedDict
={}, which I think means I'm not getting a value back.

Could anyone give me a pointer?

Thanks,

Matt
