Depending on your needs, WebDAV, DropSend, YouSendIt, Creo Tokens, BitTorrent, AllPeers, jungledisk and similar might work. If you're dealing with the general public, none of these are optimal, because people are familiar with the usual browser upload button. AFAIK, there's no general solution.
