Hello there, I'd strongly suggest you use the same version of Python on your development machines and on your servers.
You should be able to install a pre-compiled version of Python 3.5 on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS by adding the deadsnakes PPA[0] running apt-get update and then apt-get install python3.5.
