Out of the box, it provides the user with several social logins (Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Github, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google+ and Dropbox), as well as various API examples (Steam, New York Times, Twitter, Dropbox, Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram, Yelp, Quandl, Twilio and so much more). Even if you are not using it for Hackathons, the Django Hackathon Starter will save any developer hours, days or even weeks of development time. It can also serve as a learning guide for those who are just interested in learning how to do Sign in with Facebook using the OAuth 2.0 protocol, or how to access protected Twitter data.
