Hi, I've written a tutorial (well... actually two in one) about how to use the Comment (not FreeComment) and Karma parts of Django: http://www.guindilla.eu/blog/2006/10/21/comment-and-karma-functions-django-framework/
It involves some changes to the code, as I've found what seems to be a bug. There's a patch for it. A fellow programmer has taken the time to try it, and it seems to work.
