Greetings

Can anyone recommend a Python/Django mentor for hire? I was recently made
redundant and am trying to retool and repackage myself as a Django
developer and, while the community and documentation is excellent, I need
to move quickly.

So I've been devouring the official documentation, Two Scoops, Pyvideo,
etc. But then I stumbled upon http://www.jeffknupp.com/python-tutoring/
and thought: you know there's nothing wrong with needing some guidance and
it would be kind of handy to have a more experienced developer meet online
to review my code, advise on packages, sniff out unpythonic blocks, and so
on.

Searching through this list's history, I see others have recommend
http://www.roseman.org.uk/,
http://codereview.stackexchange.com/questions/tagged/django and a few
others for this sort of thing.

I guess it's cheating on one level - yes I know best way to learn is to
participate on IRC, github, sprints, etc. But as I say, I'm in a bit of a
rush to get an income going again.

And in case this might interest others, rather than reply directly to me,
perhaps you could reply here with suggestions, experiences or maybe your
own credentials/portfolio?

Cheers!

DS
