You *MUST* install django before trying to use it. You will need to create a real project using django-admin.py, instead of trying to run manage.py from the application template stubs. Please take a look at the tutorial intro, which describes how to install django https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/1.5/intro/install/ Next, look at the tutorial itself, which describes how to start your first project. https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/1.5/intro/tutorial01/ These steps are not optional.
