I don't think I did the initial conversion correctly either according to this: http://south.readthedocs.org/en/latest/convertinganapp.html#converting-an-app So if I revert my models changes, delete the existing migrations folder, follow those instructions about converting an app, then break it up into the steps you laid out. All will be well. Correct?
