Most of us just install "from scratch", I think. It's just an svn away, and the system is installed. Although a Macports version would be nice for some of the dependencies (MySQL and PostgreSQL bindings, etc.) There was a thread a few days ago about peoples' issues with getting installed on OS X, and Macports could certainly help out the people who aren't familiar with UNIX.
