I am doing the Django tutorial. When I execute the command "python manage.py syncdb", I get the following error: settings.DATABASES is improperly configured. Please supply the ENGINE value. Check settings documentation for more details. I am executing from <my home directory>/Django-projects/tutorial01/mysite, and this directory has the settings.py which I defined - as was explained in the tutorial - to be DATABASES = { 'default': { 'ENGINE': 'django.db.backends.sqlite3', ... } } I beleive my python imports another settings module but the question is why and I can override this... Thanks.
