Last time I tried Apache-2.2 with mod_python 3.x and it didn't work for me. I degraded to apache2.0 and now everything works. I am using Freebsd 6.1. There was a known problem about 3 months ago, maybe it's fixed now, in which case you need to update your ports (advise using portsnap for this) and reinstall everything again.
