If you're learning Django and Python I think you're missing some prerequisite knowledge. I would really suggest you learn how to install both Python and Django on your own as well as working through this tutorial on Python so that you have at least a basic understanding of the language. http://docs.python.org/tutorial/index.html
That way you're better prepared to learn Django as Django is just Python code.
