The django.contrib.auth User model already contains first_name and last_name fields so you don't need a UserProfile for that.
Also the view that handles the registration takes a form_class that parameter that you can pass in the urlconf, you would only need to subclass the RegistrationForm, add your fields and then pass it to django-registraion https://bitbucket.org/ubernostrum/django-registration/src/d073602dc103/registration/views.py#cl-76 https://bitbucket.org/ubernostrum/django-registration/src/d073602dc103/registration/forms.py#cl-21 2012/1/28 Jonathan Paugh <jpa...@gmx.us>: > contrib.auth.models.User has a get_profile() hook that allows you to add > extra info to a user account from your own model; however, I don't see > support for that in django-registration at first glance. > > I'm looking at the code from > https://bitbucket.org/ubernostrum/django-registration/ > > On 01/28/2012 11:59 AM, Zach wrote: >> I am new to Django and have implemented the django-registration app on >> my website.
