Thank you, yati. Thank you Waldek. Your responses are much appreciated. It seems that my question was not clear. This is all my fault. I was searching for some sort of "the most recommended" or "optimal" folder layout INSIDE the application folder. In other words, a layout where all the code, settings, static stuff, etc. relating to this particular application stay inside the application folder. It is probably ok to set a couple of values in the project's settings.py, but everything else should be inside the application folder.
Since the question was not clear, i am going to start a new one and show my current layout there.
