There will be rather more new stuff that total change of the current API. 0.95 is quite new release and 1.0 won't come out soon. My advice is to use Django 0.95 - learn it and when the /trunk in SVN starts getting serious 1.0 features then update to django-trunk and play with the new stuff part by part as it get merged in SVN :)
