Hello list!

Is there any way to use a different value for a field when re-displaying
a form? I.e. if a user enters '42' into an IntegerField but made the
other fields not validate, how could that IntegerField be re-displayed
with '43'?

Change the value in the form's data dictionary.

Karen

Thanks Karen but that's not easily possible because that's an immutable QueryDict. Plus, afaik, fields can not access form instances so this code would have to live in the form subclass -- not practical in my use case.
