But you will still need to install somehow MySQLdb and that is the main problem. I don’t know about homebrew, but I remember that I had troubles getting MySQLdb to work but I eventually did with the help of various blogs and Stack Overflow posts, unfortunatelly I did not write down the steps, so good luck.
