This list has a history that goes back to July of 2005 (see
http://groups.google.com/group/django-users/about) and is searchable via the
"Search this group" button on every page of the web interface. While at
times that search didn't seem to work very well, it's been consistently
working for at least a year now. Plain old Google search will find a lot of
stuff that has been discussed on this list also. Sorry, but I don't see how
changing to a "forum" instead of this list would be any better in the
history-keeping line or reduce the number of questions. People who care to
do research on their questions before posting here can already do so.
