Hey, I actually ended up writing my own wrapper for Django and Sphinx, because the one written by dcramer was retarded.
I haven't yet done a public release for this, nor any documentation. However, I'll post you the library, and some example usage, but don't expect this to be an "easy" one-click install lol. Give me 5 mins.
