Do you mean:

  class Episode(models.Model):
    series = models.ForeignKey('Series')

  class Series(models.Model):
    pass


instead of:

  class Series(models.Model):
    pass

  class Episode(models.Model):
    series = models.ForeignKey(Series)

?

If so, then there is no difference in the SQL generated - why would there be?
