Lloyd, The only thing we shall really avoid is a painful webserver administration and/or project support and development. In fact, we may hire a Linux admin, but I have to provide convincing reasons for that to the IT dpt. We have to get the project up and running asap, with as less obstacles as possible (if any at all, ideally). So the platform choice is in fact much more important to us now than hiring-an-extra- admin-guy issue.
In other words, I just have to understand which option we can stick to. Now I think we shall lean to Linux indeed.
