Hi Micheal, Pretty sure it has nothing to do with your version of windows.
appended MS-DOS PATH: with "C:\hp\bin\Python\Lib\site-packages \django \bin" which allows me to run django-admin.py If you have installed Python and django propely, there is no need to append anything. It should work straight out the box. I'm thinking you disabled Django-admin.py by setting the environmental varible for DJANGO_SETTINGS_MODULE. Try unsetting it to see if that works.
