That's completely the opposite of what I just said. I just said that
you *can* install it yourself locally, in your home directory or in a
virtualenv.

Really, try the command I gave before, or even better look into
virtualenv - there are plenty of tutorials available on how to run a
Django site in shared hosting with virtualenv.
