answering my own questions here: By the looks of things I will stick with hudson for now, I found some information on coverage tools as well (all though there seems to be no sonar plugin, prob because nobody has been bothered to use maven for django yet) I also found a project called Fabric for deployment, which looks pretty powerfull, but more investigation is needed.
If anyone has got some experience in fabric and hudson integration or a good resource on propagation strategies will be much appreciated.
