The admonition under TEMPLATE_DIRS, "Always use forward slashes, even
on Windows", applies equally for database paths.
However it is an extremely bad idea to keep your database in your
django/bin directory. I hope you're not putting the rest of your app
there, it's completely the wrong place for it.
