Would it make sense for the Django 404 logger to check that the referring URL actually exists before blindly reporting it? That way admins could choose not to receive false reports, or the report could be rewritten to say something like "Probably bogus." Just seems weird that Django is not using its internal awareness of the site it's reporting on.
