>>> from django.contrib.sessions.backends.db import SessionStore
>>> s = SessionStore(session_key='2b1189a188b44ad18c35e113ac6ceead')
>>> s['last_login'] = datetime.datetime(2005, 8, 20, 13, 35, 10)
>>> s['last_login']
datetime.datetime(2005, 8, 20, 13, 35, 0)
>>> s.save()

The above shows how to use django outside of the view but I still am
not full clear on the 32-character session_key.

Assuming that I generate the key do I need to worry about using
duplicated values for the session_key and if so what is the best way
to avoid duplications in django?
