Do you write your own context processors?
If yes, you need to add 'django.core.context_processors.media' in
TEMPLATE_CONTEXT_PROCESSORS manually.
TEMPLATE_CONTEXT_PROCESSORS = (
'django.core.context_processors.media',
)
