Of course my_mail() is more complicated than my example. But I am not touching "subject" elsewhere as in the posted lines (I am only passing it to EmailMessage). Thus, I did not consider the rest of my_mail() to be important.
Is there a way to check at a certain point if the the proxy object has already been translated without interfering in the translation process?
